I am a 400 level Chemical Engineering student and I initially learned about Covenant University through my mother and later through my church family at Winners Chapel, Kampala, Uganda. I was drawn to study at CU because it is a growing, dynamic university founded on a Christian mission ethos. I also believe it to be on the cutting edge of learning.
There are a number of things I enjoy about CU. The first of these is the inspirational messages from Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo as well as other members of the University Management. A also enjoy the various extra-curricular activities which the University offers students; currently I play on the rugby team.
One of the things I love about my lectures is that the lecture theatres are fitted with interactive screens. This has been very helpful as it allows me to follow what the lecturer is teaching and to increase my learning.
Being at Covenant University has caused me to view my life and destiny in a new light. I see and value the important role spirituality plays in living a successful life.
On completion of my studies, I aspire to excel as a chemical engineer and hope to own my own oil company. I also have interest in politics in Uganda and would love to serve in a leadership capacity where I can lead with integrity.
